Hi,
I've just switched the motherboard in my EZ-Tower with one in the Amiga I
was given a while ago (mentioned in the "1D.4 Timing fix." thread) and I've
put my old motherboard back in the A1200 desktop.
Now I've hit upon a problem. I've got two OS3.0 ROM chips here, with no idea
which way around they go in the sockets!!!
Can anyone help? The one chip has "391524-01" on it, and the other has
"391523-01" on it.
Logic would tell me to put the "..23-01" on top of the "..24-01" chip (when
looking at the desktop with the floppy drive at the top) but in the 3.1
ROM's I've got, Eyetech labelled them with the "b" chip going on top of the
"a" chip!!!
Can anyone help?
